About Shebs
Shebs is a Broadcaster, Travel Writer & Podcaster.
He has worked on radio and has hosted a breakfast show on Africa’s first and only dedicated travel radio station, Gallivant Radio. He has also co-hosted a breakfast show on Life & Style 88FM radio.
His podcast, Take a Wander with Shebs, has received international acclaim for his production and hosting ability. He has been featured for his work on the BBC, The Times, The Express, and Travel Magazine, to name a few.
Shebs is a Director of Voyagers Voice, a travel magazine, where he is responsible for creating revenue, commissioning new writers, and being an editor & writer.
Shebs contributed to an upcoming children’s travel book about the importance of travelling sustainably.
His success has led to Shebs being recognised and receiving the prestigious honour of a membership with the 62-year institution, the British Guild of Travel Writers. The membership consists of just over 200 elite members for their work in travel media.
Shebs is also an alliance member of Travel Unity, a non-profit based in New York focusing on increasing diversity in travel.
After obtaining a degree in Fine Art, specialising in videography & photography, Shebs battled his way through the last ten-plus years to get into this position, having worked in numerous sectors such as sales, corporate and hospitality.
Shebs has become a respected voice for the travel industry, understanding all forms of travel far better than many others. He chooses to thoroughly immerse himself in its development and growth and take the industry to another level.
